- More Than A Store

- Dear Lord, this is not just a store
- where books and gifts are bought;
- for You intended that it be more,
- a place where souls are sought
- and nourished for Your kingdoms sake.
- So now, before the tasks amass,
- Before Your throne, this wow we take:
- "All those who through this threshold pass
- Will find the love of Christ in us."
- As each one brings their joys and fears,
- their lives together or amuss,
- To meet their needs or soothe their tears,
- We'll more than sell them books and stuff.
- We'll be a counselor and a friend;
- Assure them Christ's love is enough;
- And for their needs and our knees will bend,
- Our hands will fold for them in prayer
- And bring them to Your Mercy seat
- To lay our supplication there.
- More than a store, is our intent;
- A ministry, and clearing house of praise
- Where all are welcomed, helped then sent
- Along equipped to better meet the days
- In which You've planned for each to walk
- And of our Savior Jesus talk.
- Come Father, Jesus, Spirit now
- And add Your part, Your blessings send.
- Before You, One and three we bow,
- And say, "In Jesus Name, AMEN."
